While the Oilers had a hard time scoring on Canucks' goalie Thatcher Demko, the Oilers stuck with it and continued to work hard to wear down their division rivals. With goals from Noah Philp and Andrew Mangiapane, the Oilers put their hard hats on and grinded out a strong early season win, a style that should translate well.
